NOTD: China Glaze Sweet Hook

This polish is from the Spring 2012 Electropop Collection. I recently bought it because I was wanting a pinky purple. I love it! The formula was surprisingly pretty good. I used 2 coats.

NOTD: China Glaze Too Yacht to Handle

This polish is from the China Glaze Sunsational Collection (Summer 2013). It is a really bright Tiffany blue type color. It is like a brighter version of For Audrey and Aquadelic by China Glaze. It's really pretty! The formula was a little hard to work with, but not as bad as what other people have said. I used 3 coats.

NOTD: Plastic Wrap Mani

I decided to try out a plastic wrap/saran wrap mani. I first painted my nails with 2 coats of Essie Lovie Dovie. After it dried, I painted 1 coat of China Glaze For Audrey and used the crumpled up plastic wrap to splotch up the polish. Then, after that dried, I did 1 coat of Orly Rage and did the same thing. It came out pretty cool!

NOTD: Glitter Gradient

For this glitter gradient, I used OPI Ski Teal We Drop and China Glaze Cleopatra. Ski Teal We Drop is a beautiful deep teal color. I used 2 coats. Then, I used Cleopatra for the gradient. It is a gold glitter with some iridescent glitter. I loved this combo! It was hard to get good pictures of it, though.

NOTD: China Glaze Merry Berry & Nicole by OPI Nail Ya Azalea

China Glaze Merry Berry is from the Holiday Joy 2012 Collection. It is a deep berry color. It's really glossy and pretty. I decided to try layering Nicole by OPI Nail Ya Azalea over it. The combination looked really cool! I used 2 coats of Merry Berry and 1 coat of the Nicole by OPI. It was hard to capture it in the photo. In real life, there was a little more purple to it.

NOTD: American Apparel Hassid & China Glaze Tinsel Town

American Apparel Hassid is a black creme polish. It is opaque in 1 coat. Then, I decided to do a tape mani with China Glaze Tinsel Town. I really like the combination. The reflection made my mani look kind of messed up though.

NOTD: China Glaze Velvet Bow

This polish is from the China Glaze Let it Snow! Collection for Holiday 2011. It is such a gorgeous burgundy color! I love it and I really love the name! It's so cute! The formula was a bit runny. I used 2 coats, but I probably should have used 3 coats to make it completely opaque.

NOTDs

I've shown swatches of these polishes in the past, but with my old camera. So, I figured I would post new photos since the quality is better. However, this time I wore China Glaze Party Hearty over China Glaze Glittering Garland. I used 2 coats of Glittering Garland and 1 coat of Party Hearty. I used 3 coats for OPI Vodka and Caviar.

NOTD: China Glaze Champagne Kisses

Champagne Kisses is from the China Glaze Holiday Joy Collection (2012). It is a champagne rose gold-ish glitter polish with some holographic glitter in it. You see the holographic glitter more in the sun. It was not a really opaque glitter, but it was not that sheer either. I used 3 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I could have used another layer of top coat to make it really smooth, but I was too lazy haha.

NOTD: China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy

This nail polish is from China Glaze's Summer 2010 Poolside Collection. I've been really getting into neon lately, so I had to buy this. It is a neon coral color--a pinky orange. It's really neon and pretty! The first picture is not color accurate...it is so hard to get it right! It is more saturated and neon in real life. The second picture is more accurate. The formula was streaky, so I used 4 coats. I probably could have done 3 if I was careful though.

NOTD: China Glaze For Audrey

I am so behind on posting my notds, so I'm going to be posting a bunch in a row. This is a Tiffany blue color, but it is not exactly the same color as the "Tiffany" color. I love it though! The formula was pretty good. I used 2 coats.

NOTD: China Glaze Recycle

This is just a grey polish. It comes out different on the nail than in the bottle, though. In some lighting, it looks like it has green undertones. The formula was pretty good. I used 2 coats.

NOTD: OPI Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window & China Glaze Swing Baby

I felt like doing something different, so I decided to do a tape mani with OPI Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window and China Glaze Swing Baby. For some reason, lately, I have been really wanting to have some type of glitter/shimmer on my nails haha.

NOTD: China Glaze Below Deck & NYC Molten Metal

I decided to do a french manicure with these two colors because I thought they looked amazing together! I used 2 coats of Below Deck and then 2 coats of Molten Metal for the tips. (I've posted NOTDs with these polishes before.) Btw, I'm sorry for the weird reflections on my nails.

NOTD: Essie Jazz & polka dots

Essie Jazz is a nude-taupe color. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about the color. I actually thought it looked better in real life than in the picture. Anyways, I was inspired by this mani on Polish or Perish. I loved the look of it, so I decided to try it with Essie Jazz and China Glaze Swing Baby for the dots. I loved the way it came out (even though my dots are not perfect). I used 2 coats of Essie Jazz.

NOTD: China Glaze Tinsel Town

This nail polish is from China Glaze's Let it Snow (Holiday 2011) Collection. It has a dark silver/gray base with lots of silver glitter (small and big). I love it! It is seriously so pretty! I used two coats.

NOTD: China Glaze Party Hearty

China Glaze Party Hearty was from last year's holiday collection. It has large red glitter, medium green glitter, and small gold glitter. I love it! It is so Christmas-y. I'm wearing 1 coat of it over 2 coats of Essie Going Incognito. It looks even prettier in real life! Again, sorry for the tip wear...I took these pictures days after I painted them.

NOTD: China Glaze Glittering Garland

This nail polish is from the China Glaze Let it Snow for Holiday 2011 collection. It is a dark green polish with yellow-green glitter in it. It is so gorgeous! It looks a lot better in real life. In a lot of lighting, it looks more warmer in tone. Sorry for the tipwear. I used 2 coats.

NOTD: China Glaze Ravishing Dahling

This nail polish is a dark red jelly. It is really pretty! I used 3 coats.

NOTD: Sally Hansen The Real Teal & China Glaze 5 Golden Rings

I decided to try layering these nail polishes because I don't like 5 Golden Rings on it's own. It is too yellow of a gold. I was going for a mermaid-ish look. I used 2 coats of The Real Teal (shimmery teal) and then 1 coat of 5 Golden Rings (gold glitter) over it. It came out gorgeous, but I couldn't quite capture it on camera.
