NOTD: Chanel Malice

Chanel released this polish for the holidays this year. I couldn't resist it because I love dark reds. It's a dark red with ruby shimmer that makes the polish glow. You don't see the shimmer as much when it's not in the sunlight or bright lighting. It looks like a vampy red-burgundy inside most of the time, but in the sun...it's amazing! My pictures don't really do it justice. The formula was pretty good, but for some reason I had a hard time using the Chanel brush. I used 2 coats.

NOTD: Revlon Carbonite

This polish is a shimmery, metallic silver with gold and green hints to it. I'm not exactly sure how to describe it. It is not very shiny, though. It is supposed to be a dupe of Chanel Graphite, but it is not an exact dupe. I do not have the Chanel, but I heard it is more sparkly and shiny. I thought this polish was pretty cool. Although, I wish it was shinier. I used 2 coats.

NOTD: Barry M Dusky Mauve

I won this in a giveaway and I was so happy! This is a dupe for Chanel's Paradoxal, which I wanted. However, Chanel chips really fast on me and it's so expensive. This nail polish is gorgeous! The shimmer in the bottle is stronger than when on your nails, but I actually like it better that way. In some lighting you can't see the shimmer, and it looks like a purple-brown type color. I used two coats.

NOTD

The nail polish that I'm wearing is from Claire's. It is called "Dream Catcher." It's supposed to be a dupe of Chanel "Jade." I really wanted the Chanel polish, but it is discontinued, so I researched to try to find a dupe. I found that a dupe for it was this Claire's polish and a Charlotte Russe polish in "Jade." I tried to find the Charlotte Russe one because it is supposed to be a closer dupe to the Chanel one, but they didn't have it. So I bought the Claire's one and it was actually on clearance for $2. And there was only two of them left so I was excited. I still want the Charlotte Russe one, so hopefully I will find it. Anyways, I love this nail polish though. It is such a pretty color! I would describe it as a light green with tiny shimmer (that is not that noticeable from far away). It sometimes looks like it has some blue to it, but I think it's actually has more of a yellow tone. I sometimes feel like this nail polish glows haha because the color just has this kind of brightness to it. Also, I think I used like 3 coats, but it could probably use 4 because it is very sheer. Here are some pictures of the nail polish...it was hard to get a good picture of the color. Oh, and please excuse how gross my hands look...they are not photogenic haha.
